Do the dead see us?
Our life is fussy and bustling. All the time we are in a hurry somewhere, running, running late. But our time on this earth is not so great. And what awaits beyond the threshold of life? Emptiness? Is there life after death? Do the dead see us? Is it possible to communicate with those who have already left us?
Recently there has been more than one observation of those who survived clinical death. As it turned out, people were completely conscious, could see and hear after leaving the body.
Does this mean that the answer to the question: do dead relatives see us, yes? The Church says that death does not exist, only the transition from one world to another takes place. And each of us has already experienced such a transition. It happened at birth, when a new man left his mother's bosom in agony and suffering.
There are special days in the Orthodox Church, when commemorating the departed. This custom is based on a deep faith that the soul of man is immortal, and death itself is a dream for the body and a time when the liberated soul can rejoice.
Perhaps that is why Christians in their prayers wish deceased loved ones peace and tranquility where there is no sorrow, no suffering, no illness. Religious people have confidence that the answer to the question: do the dead hear us is positive. And also people believe that with their prayer they will help the departed souls on their journey and protect them from evil forces.
Existence of hell and heaven
In the book of E. Barker published materials, which describe the observations of a person who made an attempt to convey their impressions of being in the other world. He did this with the help of an automatic letter; this is when someone invisible writes with the hand of a living person. However, it is difficult for an ordinary person to believe this, but before a person who would have claimed such things was simply considered crazy.
So, how do our dead parents live? There are many views here. The church says that the soul flies away either to hell or to heaven. All sorts of benefits are present in heaven, and eternal pain is in hell.
In ancient religions, the afterlife looks like a gloomy realm, where there is neither joy, nor sunshine, and all people go to the same place, and it doesnt matter what they were like in life. The very first attempt to associate death with retribution was the Book of the Dead in Egypt. After death, each person underwent a trial of Osiris, according to the results of which he went either to Yalah (the fields of the blessed, the prototype of Elysium, or the Elysian fields), or the sinful souls were sent to complete destruction.
According to ancient Greek ideas, souls who did not anger the gods wandered in Elysium and sinners were punished in hell.
But to find out exactly what happens to a person after death, until no one succeeded.
