    How to weave a bracelet from a floss thread

    Weave a floss bracelet or buy a floss bracelet?Crafts with their own hands.

    Floss threads are usually used for embroidery. Bright colors, durability and suitable thickness make them an excellent material for weaving belts, bracelets and other things. The floss can be combined with beads or beads. You can bracelet any thickness. It is better to start with a small product made of 6 or 8 strands. An interesting site will tell you how to do it.Recall that it is better to first go to the articlehow to weave baubles from floss for beginners, it describes in detail the entire process from the beginning to the end with a photo and video instruction, unlike this article. You can see the complete instruction, which describesBeadwork for beginners with videolessons and explanations.

    To weave a bracelet from floss threads you need:

    - thread of a floss;
    - pin;
    - fixed object to which work is attached;
    - 4 wooden beads.

    Cut 3 strands of floss 6-8 times longer than the intended product. Fold them in half. Retreat 8-10 cm from the beginning and tie the threads together. You will return to the beginning a bit later. Attach the work to a fixed object - for example, to a nail driven into the edge of the table. You can pull a thick thread between the backs of the chair and already on it to tie the threads in a knot. Auxiliary thread after work is simply cut.

    Straight or oblique knotted weaving is most suitable for a bracelet. To make the pattern visible, choose threads of three different colors. Arrange the work so that the threads of the same color are side by side. Take a strand that is on the left side. Put it on the next thread, then under it and stretch it into the resulting loop. For the second knot, draw the same thread first under the next one, then above it and back into the loop.

    Similarly, tie 2 knots of the same thread on all the others. Having finished the row, release this thread and do the same for the next one, which has now become the last from the left. You will get 2 rows, woven with a thread of the same color.

    After finishing the second row, make 2 rows of threads of a different color, then the next.So change colors until you weave the bracelet to the desired length. At the end of the last row tie all the threads in a knot.

    Divide the weaving into 2 parts so that each one contains threads of all colors. Weave 2 ordinary braids of three strands. Attach a wooden bead to the end. Return to the beginning of the weaving and make on the other side exactly the same braids, ending with beads.

    You can apply and direct weaving. In this case, the first thread should be 3-4 times longer than the others. The rest of the strands correspond to the length of the bracelet itself, taking into account the braids, plus a few centimeters so that the braids do not turn out to be too short.

    In the same way as with the first method, tie the strands with a knot, stepping back from the edge to a length slightly larger than the pigtail. Align the ends of all threads. The longest should be at the same extreme left.

    As in the oblique weave, make the first thread 2 knots on the next, then on the third, fourth, fifth and sixth. The second row of this same thread in the opposite direction. All other rows are also performed by this strand, which is why it should be longer.

    The strings can be made exactly the same as in the first method. But you can start and finish weaving not two, but one pigtail. In each strand, take the threads of the same color. Instead of wooden beads, you can take plastic or ceramic.
