    Marshmallow is produced by whipping fruit and berry mass with sugar. Then a form-forming filler (pectin, agar syrup, or gelatin mass) is added to this mixture.     Classic Marshmallow

    This is the easiest recipe for cooking delicacies, which includes ingredients that are the basis of any homemade marshmallow. For its preparation you need to prepare the following products:

    • gelatin - 30 g .;
    • water - 300 ml .;
    • baking soda - 1 tsp;
    • sugar - 1 kg .;
    • citric acid - 1 tsp.

    You must first pour gelatin with water (100 ml.) And leave to swell for one hour. The remaining 200 ml. water you need to pour sugar, put the syrup on the fire and boil for 5 minutes, then pour into it the gelatin and beat with a mixer until white (10-15 minutes). After that, pour citric acid into the container and continue beating for 5 minutes, add soda and beat for 5 more minutes.

    The finished mass using a pastry bag must be squeezed out onto a flat dish (it is convenient to use a baking tray for this,covered with cling film or foil) and refrigerate for several hours.

    Apple Vanilla Marshmallow

    This marshmallow recipe differs from the classic one only in that apple puree and vanilla sugar are added to its composition. The process of making apple-vanilla marshmallow practically does not differ from the classical recipe.

    For its preparation you will need the following ingredients:

    • gelatin - 40 g .;
    • sugar - 1 kg .;
    • baking soda - 1 tsp;
    • apple juice - 300 ml. (or water);
    • citric acid - 1.5 tsp;
    • sweet and sour apples - 2 pcs .;
    • vanilla sugar - 20 g.

    Preliminary preparation of gelatin and sugar syrup is the same as in the recipe for classic marshmallow. While sugar dissolves and gelatin swells, you can start preparing apples. They must be cleaned, cut into small pieces, put on a baking sheet, sprinkle with sugar and bake in the oven until ready. Baked apples are cooled and rubbed through a sieve or ground in a puree blender.

    Gelatin and applesauce are added to the boiled sugar syrup. Beat the mixture until the marshmallow mass turns white (usually 10 minutes is enough). Then it is necessary to introduce citric acid into it and continue beating for 5 minutes.Soda and vanilla sugar are added last, and the beating should be continued for another 5 minutes. The resulting marshmallow mass remained only to be molded using a pastry bag and refrigerated for several hours.

    Chocolate Marshmallow

    You can also make marshmallows in chocolate. For the preparation of this delicacy is better suited the classic version of the recipe without fruit additives. To cover the marshmallows with chocolate, you need to dip the frozen marshmallow in melted chocolate and refrigerate for a while longer, which is necessary for the chocolate to completely harden.
