Roses with apples
Roses with apples- a recipe.
- 250 grams of puff yeast-free dough;
- 2 apples (preferably red);
- 3 tbsp. l. sugar;
- powdered sugar for sprinkling.
Cut apples into quarters, cut out the inedible part. Cut into thin slices 2 mm thick.
Pour 200 ml of water into a saucepan, bring to a boil. Add sugar. Put apple slices into boiling water. Boil no more than 2-3 minutes, then drain the water (apples should be flexible).
Thawed dough is thinly rolled (1-2 mm in thickness). Cut into strips 3 cm in width and 25-30 cm in length. Put 5 slices of apple on a strip of dough, slightly overlapping. Slices should protrude by one third behind the upper edge of the dough. Gently wrap the strip into a tube. Turn the lower edges of the dough inside.
Put ready-made roses on a baking sheet covered with baking paper. Put in preheated to 2000C oven. Bake for about 30 minutes.
Finished puffs completely cool.Sprinkle the puffs with powdered sugar over a strainer.
