• When will Xperia

Information about the work on the new phone line Xperia appeared on the Internet in mid-2011. Then he bore the code name Pepper. He was aware that he, like all previous devices of the series (except X1 and X2), will be running Android OS version 2.3 or higher.
March 13, 2012, Sony introduced the smartphone officially. It was reported that it was renamed from Pepper to Solo, and the Android 2.3 operating system, which was used to debug the prototype of the device, was replaced with the modern version 4.0.
If you compare the phone Xperia Solo with other Android-smartphones of the same class, it turns out that it is inferior to some of them. So, it uses an LCD display with a resolution of 854x480 (for comparison, in the already released on May 29, 2012, the Samsung Galaxy SIII screen was made using AMOLED technology and has a resolution of 1280 × 720). The device plays by the processor frequency - 1 GHz and the amount of RAM - 512 MB, and according to the camera resolution - 5 MP (in the Samsung Galaxy SIII - 1.4 GHz, 1 GB and 8 MP, respectively). In it, as in most other devices on the Android platform, there is a slot for Micro SD memory cards up to 32 GB (Galaxy SIII - up to 64 GB).But all these shortcomings do not affect the performance very much, and the weight of the phone was very small - only 107 grams. He is able to work in standby mode up to 470 hours.
But the main feature that distinguishes the Solo from the competition is the increased sensitivity of the capacitive sensor. He reacts not only to the touch on the screen, but also to the movement of the fingers at a short distance from it. The user at the same time sees in advance which of the links will open, if you click on it, as if he worked with the mouse.
The exact release date of the smartphone has not yet been announced. It is only said that he will see the light during the summer of 2012. The buyer will be able to choose the version of the device, having a white, red or black color.
